We will begin
handing out Welcome Cards to the registered members who turned in the Member
Particulars Update form before March 15th.
(*Some cards may be ready even if the form was submitted after the 15th. Please
check at the office counter.)
With this
Welcome card, members will be able to sign on to their profile and begin
watching the new CG-DP Introductory lecture. There are plans in place to expand
the use of this member portal in the near future.
We ask that the Welcome cards
be picked up by each individual. In case they are not able to come to the

New Mexico Interfaith Immersion Trip: 7/28/15 - 8/1/15
A Great Opportunity for Junior Young Adults
We would like to share the information regarding 2015 New Mexico Immersion Trip (July 28–August 1, 2015) and ask your kind support to pass the information to JRYA, YALP and lineage parents at your local temple as well as long distance area such as Canada, and neighbor islands of Hawaii. Thanks to the support of Shinnyo-en Foundation, a total of 5 JRYA (ages 15-18 or currently in 9th–12th grade) are invited.
Participants will engage in inter faith dialogue, community services and learn about the different culture and communities with teens from diverse religious backgrounds. We hope this will be a great inspiration for them to create the world of friendship at their immediate circle.
Please encourage JRYA who are interested in learning other faith tradition and religion as well as community services to apply. Applicant should fill out the form and write a short essay with a brief introduction of him/herself as well as aspiration for the trip participation. Due date for the application is on April 1st, 2015 with recommendation from Local YA chiefs.
Here are some useful link to know about the trip:
Please read the article posted on SEF’s website written by a JRYA who participated in this trip in 2013: http://sef.org/respecting-differences-deepening-faith-2/
In addition, please watch the video clip of the 2013 trip at http://teeninterfaithleadershipcouncil.com/ to see what it’s all about!
