We would also like to strongly encourage you to watch this video on the website if you haven't watched it yet. It's a great video about Buddha's life and teachings, the lives of Shinnyo Parents and the Two Dojis, how to pay respect before the busts, as well as how to prepare ourselves for the upcoming bust visit.

Please note that there have been some changes to our schedule.

Originally, our published schedule reads:

• May 25: Spiritual Consolation Service
• June 2: Hawaii Water Consolatory & Lantern Floating Service

However, this will be changed to:

• May 25: Hawaii Water Consolatory Service
• June 2: Hawaii Lantern Floating Service

Please mark your calendar accordingly.

Our annual Golden Gate Gohoshi Gathering (G4) is just around the corner. Please mark your calendar! 

Date: May 4 (Sat) 

Time: Gohoshi activities will begin at 9am, and picnic will begin around 12:30pm. 

Place: For the gohoshi area and picnic area, please refer to the G4 map by clicking the image below. 

Potluck sign-up sheet is available at the temple lobby. Your support will be greatly appreciated. m(_ _)m

Redwood City Annual Spring Cleanup: 4/20/2013

In celebration of the Earth Day, Redwood City Annual Spring Cleanup event is coming up soon! 

• Date & Time: Saturday, April 20, 2013 @ 8:30am - 3pm
• Location: Public Works Services Parking Lot @ 1400 Broadway (cross street: Woodside Rd.) 
• Perks: Continental breakfast, lunch BBQ, free compost giveaway for the city residents and more!

Event Schedule: 

• 8:30am - Continental BREAKFAST!!!
• 9:00am - Clean-up teams will be provided with supplies and directed to the targeted areas
• 12:00pm - BBQ Lunch!
