San Mateo Bridge Closures (Two weekends in May)

For those of you who use the San Mateo Bridge to come to the temple, the bridge will be completely closed on the following weekends:  

  • Friday, 5/8 (10 pm) - Monday, 5/11 (5 am)
  • Friday, 5/15 - Monday, 5/18 
  • Friday, 5/22 (10 pm)  - Monday, 5/25 (5 am)

Also, San Francisco's annual "Bay to Breakers" marathon will be on Sunday, 5/17.  Please allow ample time to drive through the San Francisco area on that day.

Summer Job for Youths at YCS

Here is the information about 5 summer positions available for youths (college students or graduates) at the Youth Community Service (YCS).

YCS has been one of the Shinnyo-en Foundation's long-term grantees.  YCS programs engage youth in community service activities that promote increased awareness of the needs of their communities and the development of individual community service self-efficacy, and positive emotional and behavioral health.
